As your official Rest Guides, our goal for this retreat is for you to feel nourished, not just physically from the delicious and healthy food, or from being outdoors, or from resting your body, even though we're definitely hoping you will feel thoroughly rested from all of those things. More so, we want you to feel nourished on the inside: emotionally, spiritually, energetically, mentally. We want you to feel loved, safe, nurtured, valued, seen, heard, cherished, lovingly held, and cared for deeply during the time that you spend with us. We do not take our hosting duties lightly (except that we actually do - because if it's not fun, why do it at all?) and we're serious about wanting you to rest like it's your only job in the world. And you'll see us rest, too, during this offering, because otherwise it just doesn't make any sense for us to offer this and not practice it ourselves. We've put it together from a restful place, taking our time planning it, pulling it together, and working to make it a reality and really enjoying the process. We hope you enjoy the fruits of our (fairly!) well-rested labor and find inspiration to rest more than you ever have in your life after you've spent time with us. Remember, even five minutes - even ONE minute - of mindful rest matters!!
